Registered Nurse - Allergy
Job DescriptionWith 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu.
The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu's only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women's center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state's first retina center.
Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician.
Allergy department specializes in the evaluation and treatment of acute or chronic allergic conditions such as asthma, allergic rhinitis, ocular and nasal allergies, hives, eczema, food and drug allergies, insect sting reactions and work-related allergies such as latex.
Our professional staff treats patients of all ages in a friendly atmosphere with modern testing methods, patient education and compassionate, caring attention.
As a Registered Nurse in our Allergy department, you will have the opportunity to provide professional and compassionate nursing services through the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of patient care.
You will also function as an associate to a charge nurse and begin to assume charge nurse responsibilities with time.

Qualifications:
Current Hawai'i Registered Nurse License.
Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) CPR cards.
One (1) year recent acute care Registered Nurse experience in cardiology.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
EKG certification.
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialists (RCIS), Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) or Progressive Care Certification (PCCN) certification.
Training/experience in cardiology.
One (1) year of recent acute care Registered Nurse experience in cardiology and case management experience.
