SITEC - Project Manager


Responsibilities:
Peraton requires Project Managers Level 1 to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3.
Positions are located at the SOCOM Headquarters at MacDill, AFB FL, and at the TSOC and Component locations in the United States and abroad.
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract(SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provideUSSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs),and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain NetworkOperations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user andcommon device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conducttraining, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services.
The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
The Project Manager Level 1 (PM L1) has primary responsibility for managing a specific project or projects assigned by the Government to include project requirements, scope, budget, schedule and performance.
PM L1 monitors, adjusts and reports on project performance, budget and schedule.
PM L1 shall provide agreed to scheduled interim progress reviews with the Government.
PM L1 assists with proposing, implementing and enforcing Government policies, standards, and methodologies and is responsible for either developing or supervising the preparation of studies, reports and acquisition documents.
The PM L1 shall work from the latest Government approved version of the Project Management Processes (PMP).
The PMP is an evolutionary document that shall be updated annually at a minimum and as project changes occur.

Documenting all support requirements in a PMP and providing it to the Government Describing the proposed management Maintaining detailed SOPs for all Including milestones, tasks, and subtasks required in this Providing for an overall Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) with a minimum of three levels and associated responsibilities and partnerships between Government (i.

, Components, Commands, and TSOCs) and contractor organizations.
Describing in detail the Project Managers QMP and approach to risk management under this Describing in detail the Project Managers approach to communications, including processes, procedures, format, and other rules of engagement between the Project Manager and the Maintaining the location of technical and project management Some positions may require shift work and/or an ability to work a non-standard work schedule to support the USSOCOM mission Locations:
Cannon AFB, New Mexico Coronado, California Ft.

Required qualifications:
BS 10-12, MS 8-10, Phd 5-7.
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, a Mathematics-intensive discipline, or a major field of study which either provides substantial knowledge useful in managing large, complex Automated Information System (AIS) projects or is closely related to the work as described and required by the task.
Substantial experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirement.
DoD TS/SCI clearance is required Project Management Institute (PMI) Program Management Professional (PgMP) OR PMI Project Management Professional OR AAPM Master Project Manager (MPM) Five years of progressive and intensive experience management, with at least one year of relevant experience in a position with duties commensurate to those defined in the Statement of Objectives, or two years of specialized experience in a position with duties commensurate to those defined in the Statement of Objectives.
Candidates require a working knowledge of Federal Acquisition law, regulations, policies and procedures, including substantial involvement in a major acquisition effort.

Target Salary Range:
$104,000 - $166,000.
This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
