Pali Momi Medical Center overlooks majestic Pearl Harbor on the island of O?ahu. With 116 beds and more than 390 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi has delivered many medical firsts to the community, including West O?ahu?s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit for the detection and treatment of heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, CT scan and MRI services, emergency services, a Women?s Center and the state?s first Retina Center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai?i that utilizes a team triage approach in its Emergency Room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician. For five consecutive years, the American Heart Association has recognized the hospital with its Gold Award for excellence in the treatment of coronary artery disease and its Gold Plus Award for Heart Failure, making it one of only 7 in the nation to receive this distinction.
The Pharmacy department is responsible for compounding and dispensing medication and supplies, and large-to-small volume parenterals, as well as providing drug information and education. We strive to ensure that our patients and clients receive safe and effective medication by applying the highest standards of modern pharmaceutical care. We are now expanding unit based pharmacy services into the Emergency Department and are looking for pharmacists who are ready to participate in the fast paced environment.
As an ED Pharmacist, you will provide pharmaceutical services to our patients and their families and collaborate with ED physicians, nurses and other healthcare staff. This includes medication reconciliation, order review/verification, dispensing of medications and supplies, and medication management and monitoring via established protocols. In addition you will provide drug education, participate in emergency drug management (codes, stroke, trauma, sepsis), protocol development and committee activities. We are looking for someone meticulous and attentive to pharmaceutical protocol, quality control and integrity, who shares our commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai?i?s people.

Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai?i pharmacist license.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
