Pali Momi Medical Center overlooks majestic Pearl Harbor on the island of O ahu. With 116 beds and more than 390 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi has delivered many medical firsts to the community, including West O ahu s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit for the detection and treatment of heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, CT scan and MRI services, emergency services, a Women s Center and the state s first Retina Center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai i that utilizes a team triage approach in its Emergency Room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician. For five consecutive years, the American Heart Association has recognized the hospital with its Gold Award for excellence in the treatment of coronary artery disease and its Gold Plus Award for Heart Failure, making it one of only 7 in the nation to receive this distinction.
The Pali Momi Surgical Clinic provides comprehensive outpatient services for the adult patient needing surgical care. Our highly trained medical professionals continue to bring innovative surgical therapies that maximize patient safety and comfort while minimizing down time. We provide an array of surgical services, including minimally invasive services, the Da Vinci robot, and an accredited bariatric surgery program (Metabolic Bariatric Surgery Accreditation & Quality Improvement).
As a Medical Assistant at our Surgical Clinic, you will form part of the dedicated team of physicians and medical staff that provide caring, thorough health services to our patients and their families. In this role, you will perform a wide variety of patient care activities to clients of all ages. We are looking for someone detail-oriented and attentive, with strong communications and patient care skills and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai i s people.

Minimum Qualifications: High school or equivalent. Completion of a Medical Assistant Program and/or equivalent experience. Certified or Registered Medical Assistant with the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), or National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. Must be able to complete departmental competency assessment by conclusion of orientation period. One (1) year back office medical assistant experience in an outpatient clinic, physician s office, or related experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
